Supply Chain Specialist
Position Overview
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will coordinate procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier activities to ensure the efficient and timely flow of goods and materials. You will work with vendors and internal departments to maintain stock availability, control costs, and support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels, prepare purchase requests, coordinate with suppliers, and follow up on orders and deliveries. Support vendor evaluation, negotiate suitable purchasing terms, and maintain accurate procurement and inventory records. Coordinate transportation and logistics activities and identify potential supply-chain risks, delays, shortages, and unnecessary costs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, or supply-chain operations is preferred. The candidate should be detail-oriented and comfortable using spreadsheets, ERP systems, and inventory-management tools. A relevant degree is preferred.
